We visited Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Foundation, a government agent promoting SME in Bangladesh and met the new managing director.
SME Foundation is supporting SMEs working in the areas such as handicraft, fashion, and light engineering. They have been awarding successful managers of SME every year (total of 18 people till now). They also organize National SME fair where more than 200 companies participate.
SME Foundation is willing to help Japanese companies for business matching with SMEs in Bangladesh.
